For Final Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Students
The Agro-Industrial Attachment (AIA) program is a vital component of the READY program as per the guidelines of the ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research). It is designed to expose final year students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture to the real-world functioning of agri-based cottage industries and enterprises. This structured internship aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial practices by providing hands-on training, technical exposure, and industry insights.
🎯 Objectives of AIA:
- To familiarize students with the organizational setup, functioning, and business operations of agro-industries.
- To develop practical knowledge and skills in production, processing, packaging, marketing, and supply chain management.
- To cultivate entrepreneurial competencies and a professional outlook among students.
- To help students identify agri-based enterprise opportunities and gain field-level experience.
- To establish linkages between students, academia, and the agri-industry for future employment or entrepreneurship.
📘 Structure of the Program:
- Duration: 3 weeks (or as prescribed by the university)
- Mode: Full-time industrial attachment under the guidance of industry mentors and academic supervisors

- Improved skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and professional communication

🧾 Certification:
On successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Agro Industrial Attachment or Internship, Letter of Recommendation and Experience Certificate from the Hogar India Agro-industrial unit. This experience will add value to their academic profile and boost their employability in the agri-sector.
Fee:
Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Only)
AIA Training Fee Rs. 2000/- (Two Thousand Only)
